Our 10th Kappa Puzzles Online Contest closed on June 15, 2007.

This was the challenge: Some smart merchants choose a phone number whose letters spell out a slogan, thus making the phone number both free advertising and easy to remember. For instance, a haberdasher might choose 632-5843, and all you need to remember is “NECKTIE” when you want to call him. The object of this contest is to guess the slogans of the tradespeople below (1–8) by matching each number with the correct letter on the phone buttons.
